An Albanian citizen has ended up in the handcuffs of the British police, after being accused of drug trafficking.

Foreign media reports that Artan Vladi was part of a criminal gang that was involved in the transportation of cannabis, with large quantities capturing staggering figures.

British authorities during the search found 87 kilograms of cannabis with a possible value of £870,000. 

They also stopped a car on the A50 and found £137,790 in three shoe boxes.

The court sentenced the 27-year-old to 30 months in prison and after the end of the sentence he will be deported to Albania. /CNA.al
