Tensions and barricades continue in the north of Kosovo/ Border points in

The border point between Kosovo and Serbia in Merdare continues to be closed to traffic, according to the data published by the National Center for Border Management. On the Serbian side of Merdare, according to Kosovo authorities, barricades have been placed for about two kilometers before reaching this border point.

On the evening of December 27, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora of Kosovo said that "Serbian criminal groups" blocked the border in Merdare and invited all citizens of Kosovo and those of the diaspora to use other border points to reach Kosovo.

Grupe të serbëve lokalë kanë vendosur barrikada në rrugët që çojnë drejt Jarinjës dhe Bërnjakut në shenjë pakënaqësie me arrestimin e një ish-polici serb të Kosovës.Dejan Pantiq, sipas autoriteteve, dyshohet për organizimin e sulmit të 6 dhjetorit ndaj zyrtarëve të Komisionit Qendror të Zgjedhjeve në veri.

Që prej kur janë vendosur barrikadat 19 ditë më parë, në veriun e Kosovës të banuar me shumicë serbe, janë regjistruar disa incidente me armë zjarri, granata dore dhe shok bomba.

Otherwise, in addition to the border crossings of Merdare, Jarinja and Bërnjak - which are currently closed - Kosovo and Serbia have three other border crossings: Mutivodë, Dheu i Bardhë and Muçibabë.
