The Indian perpetuates the memory of his wife in a silicone statue

An Indian pensioner who lost his wife during the COVID-19 pandemic has spent £2,500 to buy a silicone doll in his wife's likeness.

His wife died alone in the hospital, because the place was blocked and free movement was not allowed.

The man told The Times of India that a few years ago he and his wife had visited a Hindu temple with his wife, and there they had seen a statue. His wife jokingly told him to make a similar statue when she dies.

A few months after the death of his wife, Tapas returned to the same temple and fulfilled his wife's wish.

“Indrani had told me about her desire to make a similar statue for her if she died before me. I just wanted to fulfill this wish of hers", he affirmed. /CNA.al
