Bomb alert at Pristina airport/ Police reacts after checks

The Kosovo Police said that the threat with explosive devices at Pristina International Airport "Adem Jashari" turned out to be false.

This airport was temporarily closed earlier on December 28, but the police said that after the checks carried out, they did not find any explosive device.

According to the police, a detailed inspection of the building was made, but nothing was found.

The Kosovo Police has announced that the bomb threat at Pristina's International Airport "Adem Jashari" was a false alarm "with specific goals".

"After the completion of the control and works by the relevant institutions, the operation and circulation at the airport has returned to normal", said the Police.

Airport officials announced earlier on Wednesday that after receiving bomb threats, all passengers and airport personnel had been evacuated.
