Immigrant vote/ Lapaj challenges Rama

The founder of the "Albania Becomes" movement, Adriatik Lapaj, has challenged Prime Minister Edi Rama to approve the vote of immigrants and win, as this proves that he has the support of the Diaspora.

According to Lapaj, the Diaspora has the power to change the political situation in Albania.

"Our diaspora has the strength to change the political situation in Albania. We have filed the draft law on the diaspora vote and the one on open lists. I challenge the prime minister to approve the vote of the diaspora, to win, and here he proves the diaspora's support for him.

If he has the diaspora with him, to approve the vote of the immigrants, to make it so that he has the votes, because I only have the desire. I am guided only by the principle of law, every Albanian citizen who holds an Albanian passport must vote.

The issue of Albanian pensions in Greece must be addressed. It doesn't go without saying, he has to do it, because he is the prime minister and he has it in hand. The problem is the queues at the border, another problem is the ownership certificates for the properties that the Albanians have in Greece.

These have passed laws based on interests. In Albania, the philosophy has been created that whoever goes "up" will steal.

We support us because of our principles and our confrontation with this government. We see the source of the problem. Everything comes because everything is taken without competition.

The problem is not who comes to power, but to establish some principles for statehood. People know the truth and change will come," he said.

Among other things, in an interview Lapaj commented on Rama's meeting in Athens. He stated that based on the facts that have come out, the administration was present at the stadium.

"As the facts have emerged and will emerge, the administration was present at the stadium. Of course, some of them went out of curiosity", stated Lapaj./ CNA
