The Democratic Party has filed a lawsuit in SPAK against Prime Minister Edi Rama regarding the tour he undertook for meetings with immigrants in the Diaspora. 

The Secretary for the Diaspora, Indrit Hoxha, said in a statement to the media that Rama is spending over 2 million euros from the state budget for the realization of this tour.

He emphasizes that the prime minister cannot continue to manipulate or steal the votes of Albanians.

"An investigative show has brought out the headlines and heads of various institutions in Albania, who have filled vans and buses, forced the administration to go to the Prime Minister's meeting in Athens. This is an intolerable thing for the Albanian opposition. The Prime Minister cannot continue to manipulate and steal the votes of Albanians and what he has done in Albania, he is now trying to do in the Diaspora. All the facts are already in SPAK. In the following days, from the DP headquarters, we will have statements where we will show every other fact related to these movements of the prime minister and the abuse of the Albanians' taxes.
