GJKKO seizes Oltian Bistri's assets

The Special Court has made the decision to seize the assets of Oltian Bistri.

From the investigations, it was found that Bistri and his family members own property, the value of which is several times higher than the legal income received from them. Bistri's shops, villas, apartments and cars have been seized.

A few days ago, the Special Prosecutor's Office closed the investigations and sent for trial the businessman Pëllumb Gjoka, Oltian Bistrin and 5 others arrested as part of the "Metamorfoza" operation.

The Special Prosecutor's Office against Corruption and Organized Crime, Tirana, on the basis of asset verifications carried out in the function of criminal proceedings no. 9, of 2023, has registered the property proceeding no. 6, of 2024, which refers to the assets owned by the citizen Oltian Bistri and his family members.

Given that the citizen Oltian Bistri has had indications since 2016 of involvement in criminal activity, as well as in the framework of criminal proceedings no. 09, of the year 2023, of the Special Prosecutor's Office, was charged with committing the criminal offenses provided for by articles 259 and 287 of the Criminal Code, based on article 3/1, letters (ç) and (d), of the law no. 10192, dated 03.12.2009, "On the Prevention and Punishment of Organized Crime and Trafficking through Preventive Measures against Property", citizen Oltian Bistri is subject to this law and may be subject to property preventive measures.

Against citizen Oltian Bistri and his family members (who have had transactions related to or suspected of having been carried out for citizen Oltian Bistri), all possible property verifications have been carried out, from which it has been found that they own assets, values ??and which is several times higher than the legal income received by him and his family members.

In the following, at the request of the Special Prosecutor's Office, the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime, with decision No. 19, dated 05.03.2024, decided to seize the assets owned by citizen Oltian Bistri and his family members , like below:

· 18 Units (shops) + 1 Apartment, located on "Todi Shkurti" street, Tirana;

· Apartment with a total area of ??400 m2, 6th (sixth) floor, located in the construction complex at Farmacisa 10 intersection, Tirana;

· Property of the land type, with an area of ??200 m2, Cadastral Zone 8270, located on "Rrugën e Kosovare", Tirana;

· Apartment with an area of ??66.5 m2, located in the "Square 21" complex, on Kavajë Street, Tirana;

· Apartment no. 18/C, seventh technical floor/8 construction, with an area of ??73.16 m2, located in building 1, in the "Delijorgji Complex", on Kavajë Street, Tirana;

· Apartment with an area of ??400 m2, sixth floor, located in the construction complex at Farmacisa 10 intersection, Tirana;

· Unit (shop) with an area of ??125 m2, on the first floor, located in the "Square 21" building complex, on Kavajë Street, Tirana;

· Apartment with an area of ??138.3 m2, located in Selitë, Tirana;

· Garage with an area of ??87.8 m2, located in Selitë, Tirana;

· Apartment with a surface area of ??100.6 m2, on the tenth floor, located in the construction complex at Farmacisa 10 intersection, Tirana;

· Unit (shop) with a construction area of ??72 m2, located in the "Square 21" building complex, on Kavajë Street, Tirana;

· Villa A14, in the "Green Valley" residence, Tirana;

· Apartment no. 3, fourth floor, with an area of ??58.5 m2, located on "Ndreko Rino" street, Tirana;

· Apartment no. 9, second floor, with an area of ??58.9 m2, located on "Ndreko Rino" street, Tirana;

· Property of the unit type (shop), with a construction area of ??110 m2, located in the "Square 21" building complex, on Rrugë e Kavajës, Tirana;

· Apartment-type property, with a total area of ??400 m2, sixth floor, located in the construction complex at Farmacisa 10 intersection, Tirana;

· Unit-type property, with a total area of ??95 m2, on the first floor, located in the "Square 21" building complex, on Kavajë Street, Tirana;

· "Land Rover" brand vehicle, "Range Rover Sport" model, year of production 2012;

In total, the following were seized:

? 22 – Units (shops/business premises);

? 10 – Apartments;

? 1 – Villa;

? 1 – Land;

? 1 – Garage;

? 1 – Vehicle.

The total purchase value of the seized assets according to the prices determined in the notarial contracts is 3,091,519 Euros.

The Special Prosecutor's Office has executed decision No. 19, dated 03.05.2024, of the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime, and all the above assets have been taken into administration by the Agency for the Administration of Seized Assets and Confiscated at the Ministry of the Interior, Tirana ./CNA
