Today, it is three years since the tragic earthquake of November 26, 2019, which shook all of Albania.

As today three years ago, 51 people lost their lives from the earthquake that destroyed the houses and hundreds of others were injured.

The strong tremors also caused a lot of material damage, causing many people to remain homeless in some areas of the city of Durrës, Fushë Kruja, Laç, Lezha and Tirana.

Many neighboring countries came to Albania's aid, giving their financial contribution but also sending rescue teams to extract the bodies that were left under the ruins.

Even today, many of the families that were affected by that tragic earthquake have not settled in their homes./ CNA.al
