Survey/ Albanians uninformed about the way of determining the budget and taxes

63% of Albanians are not informed about who decides on local taxes and fees. Asked by Barometer in Euronews Albania, 32.7% answered incorrectly saying 'the president and his administration', 30.3% answered 'I don't know' and only 36.9% are aware that it is the municipal council that determines them.

What attracts the most attention is the fact that even though they are the age group with the most experience in elections, it is precisely the 55-65 age group that answered the most incorrectly with 46.8%. While the following age group is 25-34 years old with 30.4%.

Më shumë se gjysma e shqiptarëve, 58.2% nuk e dinë se kush e përcakton buxhetin vjetor të bashkisë. Të vënë para kësaj pyetje 27.1% e qytetarëve janë përgjigjur gabim duke thënë ‘kryetari i bashkisë dhe administrata e tij’, 31.1% janë përgjigjur ‘nuk e di’ dhe vetëm 41.8% janë të informuar që e përcakton këshilli bashkiak.

Sërish është mosha e tretë që është përgjigjur më së shumti gabim. Tek ata që kanë thënë kryetari dhe administrata e tij 32.2% e zë grupmosha 55-65 vjeç, pasuar nga grupmosha 65-75 vjeç me 28.3%. Por kësaj here nuk mbeten mbrapa as të rinjtë. Grupmosha 18-24 vjeç 27% e tyre janë përgjigjur gabim, pasuar nga grupmosha 35-44 vjeç me 26.4%, 25-34 vjeç me 25.1%, dhe më të informuar janë grupmosha 45-54 vjeç./ Euronews Albania
