Assets worth 300,000 euros are seized, which are suspected to have benefited from criminal activity in the field of narcotics. 

The assets have been seized from citizens Gj. (Sh.), Ll., 42 years old, and his family members.

Police notification: 

The police operation coded "Start" is finalized, during which assets worth about 300,000 euros were seized, which are suspected to have their source from criminal activity in the field of narcotics.

In the framework of the criminal proceedings for the identification and seizure of assets derived from criminal activities, referred by the Money Laundering Investigation Section of the Local Police Directorate of Tirana, to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Tirana, the execution was carried out of the Court's decision, for the imposition of preventive sequestration against the assets in the name of the citizen Gj. (Sh.), Ll., 42 years old, and his family members.

Pursuant to this decision, a vehicle, a garage and a commercial unit in the Headquarters were seized, the value of which is around 300,000 euros.

From the investigative actions, it is suspected that the confiscated assets have their source from the criminal activities carried out by the citizen Gj. (Sh.), Ll., whom the Italian authorities have sentenced to imprisonment, for trafficking in large quantities of narcotics, carried out in cooperation. The materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office./ CNA
