The head of the Special Prosecutor's Office, Altin Dumani, has held a meeting with the Secretary of State at the Federal Ministry of the Interior of Germany, Johann Saathoff.

In this meeting, the relationship between the law enforcement agencies of the German state and SPAK was discussed.

Duman thanked the representatives of this delegation for the continuous support of the German state to SPAK, expressing the highest considerations for the very good level of international cooperation in the framework of mutual legal assistance between the parties.

On the other hand, Saathoff has underlined that SPAK is a very important institution in the fight against organized crime and corruption in Albania, which is considered by the German state as one of the key institutions for Albania's integration into the European Union.

He also emphasized that it was a coincidence that this visit of this level to Albania started with this institution.

Saathoff expressed the importance that the German state has given to cooperation with SPAK, where, as in few countries, the presence of contact officers in Albania is higher./ CNA
