How much did the permit affect the collapse of the road in Arrat e Gurrës?

The Chief Inspector of IKMT, Afrim Qëndro, conducted field inspections today after taking office, where he focused on several issues.

Asked whether the permit was exceeded and how much it contributed to the collapse of the road at Arrat e Gurrës, Qëndro said that specialists should be consulted on the case, but the permit control is carried out by IKMT and specifically, the point of interest in use is with a permit. 

"We need to hear from specialists about what happened. IKMT controls the permits issued for the use of inert materials in the river and the topography where this process is carried out. It has been verified that the amount of inert materials and the entire other process is not the IKMT responsible institution. But in this specific case, the point of inert materials being used is with permission and in the position specified by the permission of the relevant institution," said Qëndro ./CNA
