Presidenti i FIFA-s, Gianni Infantino, ka përmendur Shqipërinë për strehimin e refugjatëve afganë gjatë një kofenerence për shtyp të mbajtur dje.
Infantino tha se Rama është miku i tij që i hapi dyert refugjatëve ndryshe nga vendet e tjera.
“Dhe miku im Edi Rama tha se ata janë të mirëpritur këtu në Shqipëri, ku ato mund të ndërtojnë një të ardhme. Pra, Shqipëria i hapi dyert. Nga të gjithë shtetet e tjera Shqipëria ishte ajo që i hapi dyert për refugjatet afganistanezë që i duhej të iknin sepse po luanin futboll në Afganistan”, u shpreh ai.
Ndërkohë, kujtojmë se në Shqipëri u sollën 121 afganë më 27 gusht të 2021-shit. Totalisht në vendin tonë janë strehuar 2400 afganë, të cilët u strehuan në Shëngjin./ B.A. – CNA.al
