The police rejected the opposition's request to hold the protest on December 6.

With a letter addressed to the Democratic Party, the police argue that the reason for the refusal is that the "Dëshmorët e Kombit" boulevard is part of the security perimeter.

According to her, any organization of this nature in the area of ??the security perimeter constitutes a risk for the security of the summit.

After this announcement, the general secretary of the DP, Flamur Noka, reacted, who stated that the protest is a right acquired in December 1990 and no one can stop the right to protest.

"Protest is a democratic right acquired since December 1990. No one can stop the right to protest. We do not get permission from anyone in Albania to protest. Based on the law, we announce that the protest will take place whether the regime wants it or not", said Noka./ CNA.al
