Investigative journalist Artan Hoxha conveyed a strong message, as through a post on social networks he talked about invitations from embassies or NGOs financed with EU and OSCE funds.

As he states that he has never been a part of such spectacles, which are announced when the funds burn or when the end of the year comes, in conclusion, Hoxha conveys the message that journalism is not a profession that is practiced under the guise of embassies.  

“Sa vjen tetori, telefoni nis e mbushet me mesazhe e ftesa nga ambasadat apo nga keto OJQ-te e financuara me fonde te BE-se dhe OSBE-se.

Me ftojne me miresjellje dhe delikatese per aktivitete dhe seminare, ku do t’i qahet halli gazetarise, apo do te zgjidhen hallet e gazetareve…

Sa me shume afron fundi i vitit, aq me te intensive behen ftesat…

Po mire mo vlla, viti ka 12 muaj, si ka mundesi qe ju kujtoheni per ne, vetem kur u vjen fundi i vitit dhe u digjen fondet?!

Kur ndani projektet apo fondet, nga fillimi i vitit, e beni pa zhurme e buje me te njejtet emra.

Ne fund te vitit, kur duhet te mbushni faturat dhe listat e pjesemarresve, per te justifikuar shpenzimet, kujtoheni te na ftoni per ndonje dreke ne Rogner, apo ndonje honorar simbolik per prezencen.

I have never been part of these agendas. I have neither time to waste nor the desire to get involved in such spectacles, which supposedly lament the plight of media freedom in this country.

Rejoice, enjoy and enjoy those funds, because they are the end of rich European citizens.
