Manastirliu reveals the objective/priority for 2023, the good news for the "white shirts"

The Minister of Health, Ogerta Manastirliu has made the work balance for 2022.

Manastirliu emphasizes that during the past year the priority has been the increase of the budget, doubling it for oncology drugs.

Among other things, the minister has informed that one of the priorities of 2022 was the increase of salaries for doctors, a priority which will continue in 2023.

It also underlines the fact that investments in health will continue.

" We have prioritized increasing the budget and the budget for oncology drugs has been doubled.

A new fleet of ambulances has been added to the emergency department. 501 thousand calls were received and there was a quick response. 410 thousand citizens benefited from the reimbursement program.

Again, we paid special attention to the range of tests in hospitals, we served more hospitalized patients.

The support of our health resources, starting with the increase in salaries, as they were in 2022 with 6%, will also continue in 2023 ", said Manastirliu./ CNA.al
