Former prosecutor, Eugen Beçi, shared a critical stance regarding several missing steps from the Justice Reform.
In the evening show on A2 CNN, Beçi stated that the procedural framework for ending the impunity of senior officials was not sufficiently completed.
Also, Beçi said that removing bureaucratic and formal obstacles that limit the work of prosecutors' offices would seriously help in the fight against corruption.
"The Justice Reform was undertaken with the promise of ending the impunity of high-ranking officials. However, the procedural framework was not sufficiently completed to support this goal. If the fight against corruption is taken seriously, every bureaucratic and formal obstacle that limits the activity of the prosecution must be removed," said Beçi. /CNA
