There is a protest in front of the Municipality of Tirana, where the citizens insistently demand the removal of the head of the Municipality, for the corrupt scandals in this institution. 

The representative of the Theater Protection Alliance, Adriana Kalaja, in her speech, accused Veliaj of being the robber of citizens' taxes.

Kalaja has called on the State Police to withdraw from the siege as they will not stop until Mayor Veliaj is removed from the office.

"Every day that passes, time is proving us right, with the staggering abuses of the municipal funds, with our taxes, with 100% of their theft and robbery showed that it was not a political war and baseless accusations everything was proven except for the fact that we could not think that the skepists would not react. It was your protests that finally forced SPAK to interrogate Veliaj. We call on the State Police to leave the Tirana Municipality and we will not withdraw until we get Veliaj out of the municipal office", she said./ CNA
