Today, the 28-year-old policeman, Novruz Cenalia, who was shot dead two days ago in Baltëz of Fier, is being sent to his last home.

It is reported that the tributes are being performed in the "Bylis" theater of the city. 

Friends, family and colleagues of the former officer will escort the 28-year-old who was killed by a bullet to the head to his last residence.

Present at the ceremony are the Minister of the Interior, Taulant Balla, accompanied by the MP Ermonela Felaj, the Director General of the State Police, Muhamet Rrumbullaku, as well as the head of the Municipality of Fier, Armando Subashi.

The perpetrator of the serious incident has not yet been caught. The police have been searching for two days.

The 28-year-old was shot with a gun on May 13, 2024 in the village of Baltëz in Fier. He was on his way to work, but got involved in an argument with Azgan Mërnica, 23 years old, about the turn to drive.

During the debate, the 23-year-old pulled out the pistol he was carrying and with a single bullet in the head left the State Police employee dead on the spot./ CNA
