GJKKO sentenced to prison for cultivation of narcotic plants/ Two wanted persons

Two people have been arrested in Vlora, after being wanted for cultivating narcotic plants. Vlora police have announced that the citizens, Aldo Tushaj, 38 years old, and Sefer Dukaj, 45 years old, have been arrested.

The Criminal Court of Kosovo sentenced them for the criminal offense of "Cultivation of narcotic plants", committed within the framework of a structured criminal group. Tushaj was sentenced to 3 years and 11 months in prison and Dukaj to 2 years and 7 months in prison.

Police announcement:

Vlora DVP/Continuous checks to capture wanted persons, 2 citizens convicted of cultivating narcotic plants as part of a structured criminal group are detained.

In continuation of the work to locate and capture wanted citizens, the structures of the Narcotics Investigation Section, in cooperation with the Operational Investigation Section, based on information provided by police intelligence, made it possible to capture and detain the following citizens:

• Aldo Tushaj, 38 years old, resident of Vlora;

• Sefer Dukaj, 45 years old, resident of Vlora.

These citizens were declared wanted, after the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime, with the decision dated 01.10.2024, also upheld by the Special Court of Appeal with the decision dated 20.10.2025, sentenced them for the criminal offense "Cultivation of narcotic plants", committed within the framework of a structured criminal group, specifically citizen Aldo Tushaj to 3 years, 11 months and 18 days of imprisonment and citizen Sefer Dukaj to 2 years, 7 months and 18 days of imprisonment.

The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office for further action. /CNA
