Democratic MP, Luan Baçi, reacted to the protest in front of the Tirana City Hall after some media published a photo where he appeared a few years ago with the person accused of murdering the policeman Novruz Cenalia in Fier. 

He said that the photo was taken in 2021 and the accused person was not a criminal, but according to him he was an honest, hardworking and family citizen. 

Baçi said that he will do his job honestly and will not withdraw due to the pressures they put on him. 

The words of Luan Baci: 

I offer my most sincere and heartfelt condolences to the slain policeman. But I also confirm for all the media, as the deputy of the district of Fier, my knowledge is very great, I have many photos, I have many videos, I have many meetings, even lunch and dinner with democrats and not only. Even one of them, the killer of that policeman.

You, the media that published it, I am answering them, I know Azgan Mërnica. In 2021, when he took that photo with me, he was not a criminal, he was an honest, hardworking and family citizen and he absolutely deserved the photo with me.
