The Minister of Defense, Niko Peleshi, has provided information about the difficult situation in the country, after heavy rains.

Through a status on social networks, Peleshi announces that so far 8 families have been evacuated in Lezhë and Shkodër counties and work is being done to remove water from the homes.

Also, he announces that the search is continuing to find father and son in Shkrel of Malësi e Madhe, who had an accident while traveling by car.

"FA operatives with means of transport, motorboats and all the capacities of the fire service, the State Police, civil emergency structures, the medical service have been ready for hours to help the residents in the districts where the situation created by the rains is more difficult.

8 families were evacuated in Lezhë and Shkodër districts. They are working non-stop to remove the water from those apartments where it is present.

The forces on the ground are continuing the search to find father and son in Shkrel of Malësi e Madhe. The great slope of the country and the heavy rains make the work of extracting the vehicle and the bodies difficult.
