"Detail at the beginning of the Board meeting"/ Këlliçi:

Democratic Party MP Belind Këlliçi commented this evening on the conversation exchanged with Prime Minister Edi Rama and US President Donald Trump at the inaugural meeting of the Peace Board.

In a television appearance, Këlliçi stated that in that conversation, where the President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, was also present, the process of former KLA leaders in The Hague was discussed.

Among other things, he said that Rama is not at all among American priorities and according to him, this was seen at the beginning of the Peace Board meeting, where he said that Trump had no comment about Rama.

"Trump asked for clarification at the end of the meeting. Rama did not mention any names at any point about The Hague, and Trump asked Osman what problem you have in The Hague. It was clarified who it was about and that's where the conversation and interest ended. I hope that Trump will deal with that issue and those four heroes will return to their home. That's how much of a "show" Edi Rama has put on.

On the other hand, I guarantee you that when it comes to American priorities in our country, Rama is the most isolated man in the world. Just look at the beginning of the Board meeting, there was no comment for only one individual, and that was Rama. There was for the general secretary of the communist party of Vietnam, for Uzbekistan, and other representatives of small countries, but not for Rama. The bottom line is that Rama's problem with America is many times bigger than we can perceive it," said Këlliçi. /CNA
