The appeal of the GJKKO is a "punch" in Veliaj's face/He leaves

The appeal of the GJKKO has left Mayor Erion Veliaj in prison, rejecting his request for the replacement of the security measure.

This is another "punch" in Veliaj's face, as we recall that the mayor has been left in prison at all levels of the courts.

The decision was made by judge Nertila Kosova.

During the session, Veliaj asked to be familiar with some of the prosecutors' acts that have been submitted to the Appeals Session of the GJKKO.

The acts with which the mayor wanted to be recognized are the lobbying addressed by him, the reports published by the US Department of Justice, which provide the lobbying report, payments, attacks and accusations against prosecutors and judges.

On February 9, the Criminal Court of Kosovo (GJKKO) passed the Veliaj case for trial. The arrested mayor faces 13 charges for 5 serious criminal offenses.

We recall that before today's session, there was another campaign of attacks against the judiciary, prosecutors and SPAK by Veliaj's media crew.
