Once in the corridors of politics he called a “political prostitute”, while today she competes under his “shelter”. We are talking about Mesila Doda, and her accusations against the leader of the Democratic Party Lulzim Basha.
Doda left the Democratic Party in 2015, amid numerous accusations and attacks on DP leader Lulzim Basha, to join 1 year later, in 2016, with the Party for Justice, Integration and Unity of Shpëtim Idrizi.
Upon joining the PJIU, she became part of the coalition with the Socialist Party. “Under the armpit” of Rama as an MP, Mesila Doda continued the insults and accusations against Lulzim Basha. It is the same Mesila, who today is claiming a seat in parliament next to Basha.
It is the same Mesila Doda, who today has changed course, and is already attacking Prime Minister Edi Rama. She hasn’t changed the language of swearing and attacks, she has simply replaced Basha with Rama. Mesila is changing, but the facts remain unchanged. In 2014, in the role of MP, Mesila Doda, came out against the leader of the Democratic Party Lulzim Basha, at a time when the opposition boycotted the Parliament.
A year later, in 2015, Doda accused Basha of not having a standard regarding decision-making within the party. We recall that in the speech held at the opening rally of the campaign in Tirana, Mesila Doda, PJIU candidate in Tirana, said that the Democratic Party has an appointed chairman, who after stealing everything he could, betrayed his friends and collaborators.
“The DP has an appointed chairman who stole everything he could, and who finally betrayed his friends and associates, and today he dares to label us as a party of agreements reached at night”- she said at that time. Also in 2017, Doda accused Lulzim Basha of vote theft and abuses and the agreement with Prime Minister Edi Rama.
“I have to remind the co-chair of the Government, that he must join to the opposition and become the leader of the Democratic Party, and then seek to become the leader of the opposition. I have to remind him that thanks to his bargains with the other co-chair of the Government, a PNJIU mandate is worth 25.000 votes, making the race between us and other parties completely unequal and discriminatory.
I must remind, that thanks to his bargaining with Rama and the abuse of the election law, today PJIU was robbed of 3 deputy, thus 40.000 votes were thrown in the basket. I must remind that he didn’t say a single word, and remained silent like a grassroot, when PJIU demanded the opening of the ballot boxes in Tirana, seeing the flagrant theft of its mandate
in Tirana, but voted against opening the ballot boxes, becoming the only opposition in the world that doesn’t require transparency”- said Doda./CNA.al
