In a TV appearance on the show “Opinion” last night, the chairwoman of the SMI, Monika Kryemadhi denounced what she described as a major scandal. Due to her warning made two days ago, there were high expectations about what she would say and do.

In the end, everyone heard only one denunciation that was made earlier by the media. The scandal in question has been investigated by CNA.al, and the documents related to it have all been published, even during the time when Monika Kryemadhi was in power with Edi Rama.

So at the time when the Minister of Environment from the SMI was Lefter Koka, as the incinerator scandal doesn’t start after 2017. The incinerator in Tirana was signed in 2017, and everything starts during the Rama-Meta government.

Meanwhile, Kryemadhi said on the show what BIRN, CNA.al, Hashtag and many other media have said for a long time, when they denounced this scandal. At that time, some other media in the service of Ilir Meta, don’t denounce or report anything, and don’t dare to do so even today.

Yesterday, Kryemadhi issued a bunch of letters, blaming Arben Ahmetaj, the former Minister of Finance, and today the Minister of Reconstruction, for the attempt to hide that scandal. But this accusation was leveled against him in September last year by the Democratic Party and Lulzim Basha, who publicly denounced the affair of incinerators, but only after the strong media insistence.

So Basha, even Kryemadhi are remembered to talk after 4 years about this corrupt affair, which is probably the biggest scandal of 30 years of democracy. Kryemadhi had to emphasize the great violation of the law, which can’t be covered by SPAK, neither by Klodian Zoto, nor the wife of Mirel Mërtiri, Stela Gugalla, nor the incinerator of Elbasan, Fier or Tirana, where in two of them still there are no incinerators built.

There are discussions about that in Elbasan, but the fact is that the Albanian government paid money before the incinerators started working. This is the point that Kryemadhi didn’t underline properly. Lulzim Basha didn’t say this either. But that is the point that “bury” the corruption of incinerators.

The Albanian government has signed a contract, and given the money to a private company, which has taken them from Albanian taxes to build the incinerators. So from the state budget are offered millions of euros without having a service. But, the essence of everything lies not only here, but in the fact why Kryemadhi talked after only 4 years.

We have some public questions about it:First, did the SMI or people close to it receive funds, the amount of money from the owners of the incinerators, and the investments made by the Albanians’ taxes? Did the SMI have in its lists as candidates for deputies, the people who signed for the incinerators?

Has the SMI officially or unofficially received money from incinerators, as many media in Albania receive, with or without bills. Why Monika Kryemadhi has remained silent for 4 years in a row? Why did she not denounce Lefter Koka from the beginning, but only now, a few weeks before the elections?

These are some questions, which if the Kryemadhi cannot answer, we can answer it, and Albanians will learn it too. And not because we will protect incinerators. For us, they are a big corruption scandal, and we will continue to denounce them with exclusive documents. So what Kryemadhi made public yesterday, we have been publishing for years. But the moral of the whole fable is one:Why she speaks so late, and did she receive money from the incinerators? Can she talk about incinerators, when their signatories were representatives of the SMI. Let’s wait for the answer./CNA.al

The Alliance for Change has announced the programs and is talking about it, while the politician Lulzim Basha tries to behave like a Western leader, claiming that the Democratic Party is different, that there is no violence, no arrogance, no corruption and no crime.

Meanwhile, the two main opposition figures talk about cutting off hands, fingers and heads, becoming like the Bokoharam coalition in Africa.

In a TV appearance on the show “Frontline”, Ilir Meta said 2 days ago that he would cut off the hands of all those who will touch the ballot boxes. “Every citizen who sells his vote, has no right to demand accountability. A citizen who doesn’t vote, has no right to complain about misgovernance. If even one vote is touched, a hand will be cut. This is clear and everyone should know”- said Meta two days ago.

These are the statements he made in 2001, when he was Prime Minister, where he shouted during the election campaign that he would cut off the hands of those who touch the votes. Although he was the Prime Minister himself, and had stolen votes with sacks, and was the main person responsible for the electoral massacre of that year.

On the other hand, the democrat Flamur Noka has started speaking this language. Apparently Noka doesn’t know what to do next, and has gone from cutting hands to cutting the fingers. “Prison and only prison for all those who abuse and try to trample on you. I know by name and surname who is trying to steal the votes, I also know the officials where they put their hands. But we will cut off the fingers of those who put their fingers in your pockets”- says Noka.

Now these are either politicians or butchers, who want to cut off their hands and fingers, or they have big problem and need to be taken to a psychologist or sociologist for treatment.

In the same line is Monika Kryemadhi, which during the time the National Theater collapsed, though it betrayed that cause, said he would eat Edi Rama’s ear.

“I will violate the law of Edi Rama. I don’t recognize the laws of Edi Rama. I don’t recognize either Edi Rama, or who is with him. It is the territory of Albania and not of Serbia. Only a serb can demolish the National Theater. I will eat Edi Rama’s ear. That’s what I’m telling you!” – declared Kryemadhi at that time.

So with hand and finger cuts, they all became like a coalition of cannibals. Instead of sending a political message to draw citizens to the polls to vote, they start threatening. One eats the ears, another cuts the hands, the other cuts the fingers, now we are waiting for someone to come out and say:I will cut off his head./CNA.al

Monika Kryemadhi has tried several times yesterday to explain to the public why the Socialist Movement for Integration is running in the elections on April 25 with a separate list from that of the Democratic Party, and to show why the coalition will be only after election. As usual, she told the next lies, which every democrat or member of the SMI understands very well.

First, Kryemadhi said that with 2 separated lists she wants more inclusion of the albanians in the elections. In fact, what will happen to the opposition, will be the fact that it will burn more votes. Everyone already knows the reason why Kryemadhi and Basha couldn’t agree on building a joint coalition. The DP didn’t accept more than 12-14 SMI candidates on its lists. This also brought their competition with separate lists. So they are not competing separately for maximizing the vote, but because of not finding a consensus for the allocation of seats.

Secondly, Kryemadhi stated yesterday that together with Basha they won the local elections of 2011. This is also a pure lie. In the elections for the Municipality of Tirana, Basha lost with 11 votes, and then it was Berisha who won. Rama was running for the fourth time and the scheme was clear, and let’s not forget the influence of the communist Hysni Milloshi. The third lie is the harmonization of programs.

In fact, SMI doesn’t have any electoral program. This party makes some formal promises to the public. But the only program of the SMI is the appointment in the administration of some trained thieves in these jobs. These are stories that are already known since 2009, and in case there is a harmonization of corruption, Monika Kryemadhi has no rival./CNA.al
