Democratic Conviction MP, Andi Përmeti addressed today in parlament with very strong tone to the Minister of Interior, Sander Lleshaj, regarding the public threat he made to the journalist Elvi Fundi, after the latter denounced the scandal of the luxury BMW, with which moves the Minister.

“Nobody from the majority spoke about the public threat that Minister Sander Lleshaj made to journalist Elvi Fundo. Even you, Elisa, who pretends to cry, did not dare to say a word. None of you have spoken. The minister has the duty to uncover the violence against the journalist in the middle of Tirana.

Instead, you threatened him publicly. Why, what did you the journalist? He was asked only a few questions. How much was bought the vehicle you drive, because it was bought with the taxes of the Albanians?

Has the vehicle been cleared through customs? Are license plates fake or not? Has insurance the vehicle? It would be easy to get out the documents and this conversation would end, but you have chosen to threaten the media”-Përmeti said./CNA.al

“Përlanë 14 milionë euro për 14 ditë”/ Malltezi publikon dokumentin: Mjafton kjo foto për të bërë punën SPAK

Head of the Department of Environmental Protection in Demokratic Party, Jamarber Malltezi, is back once again the government’s theft with incinerators processing waste.

While publishing a contract document, Malltezi writes on his Facebook profile that the government has “extorted” 14 million euros for 14 days.

According to Malltezi, if SPAK will analyze only this picture, it would be enough that the justice reform give concrete result. “The theft with incinerators is the most open robbery that has ever happened in Albania. This photo alone is enough for SPAK to start doing its job.

It’s very simple. They stole 14 million euros in 14 days. This wouldn’t have been possible without Edi Rama, Arben Ahmetaj and Lefter Koka.

In violation of the EU Waste Directive and the Albanian waste strategy that was in force, they have shared millions of euros with each other. It is enough for SPAK to analyze this picture, then we can really say that justice reform can yield results. Therefore, shakes and twist Edi Rama and other members of the Criminal Structured Group, created to steal hundreds of millions of euros of Albanians citizen”. /CNA.al

Gjonaj is at the “forefront” of reforms/ She has no time to deal with “small jobs” like that of a forgery notary

The Minister of Justice, Etilda Gjonaj seems to be probably the “most hardworking bee” of the cabinet of Prime Minister Edi Rama. Etilda Gjonaj has been put in charge of major reforms, such as changes in the Criminal Code, and others like these.

The Ministry of Justice has drafted a new Criminal Code, which Gjonaj said is expected to be submitted to the Parlament within this year. Moreover, yesterday the US Ambassador, Yuri Kim, at the high-level Anti-Corruption conference, praised all the work done by the Minister of Justice Etilda Gjonaj.

The US chief diplomat in Tirana told Gjonaj that she has probably the most difficult job in Albania, adding that she has shown the will to fulfill it as dignified as possible. Gjonaj also responded to the revolt in prisons, while emphasizing that a working group has been set up, and their problems are being addressed.

But, dealing with such big jobs, Rama’s minister seems to have forgotten some “small jobs”. Although she is at the “forefront” of reforms, Etilda Gjonaj doesn’t seem to be finding time, or is doing the lawyer of the notary caught in forgery. We remind here that for more than two months, CNA.al has denounced a forgery scandal, committed in the office of notary Violeta Sulkaj, in 2015.

CNA.al investigation has revealed that in the presence of notary Violeta Sulkaj on 28 and 29 May 2015, 2 contracts were drafted and signed, in the name of Natali Blushi, while the latter was in London, then only 20 years old.

It is a scandal with the purchase of a property with a market value of 500 million Lek in the center of Korça, in the name of Ben Blushi’s daughter, written in the contract of sale for only 30.000 euros. CNA.al has referred this scandal to the department of Etilda Gjonaj, as well as called for the minister to react publicly, but the issue has been ignored.

Resources for CNA.al by the Ministry of Justice, said some time ago, that for the notary has launched an administrative investigation, but there is still no response or public attitude from the minister Gjonaj./ CNA.al

A Rama-Basha agreement? Another evidence that shows the cooperation between two big parties

Marrëveshje Rama-Basha? Një tjetër provë që tregon bashëkpunimin mes palëve

A few months ago, specifically in July, the Democratic Party demanded that wearing a mask on the face should not be mandatory only indoors, but also outdoors. Former PD MP, Tritan Shehu demanded at that time the imposition of the use of masks even in open spaces for all citizens.

This request of the Democratic Party didn’t immediately reach the government, but was delayed for several months. A few days ago, Prime Minister Edi Rama announced that starting from Thursday, October 15, wearing the mask will be mandatory in open spaces. According to the government decision, for those who violate the rule and do not put on the mask, the fine will be 3.000 Lek.

This decision by the government, is a proof that shows that the parties, ie Democratic and Socialist Party communicate with each other and are together. The DP demanded the placement of the masks in July, while the prime minister, albeit a few months late, heard the request of his political opponents.

On the other hand, we remind that since the agreement of May 17, 2017, there have been many cases that have shown cooperation between the leader of the “Renaissance”, and that of the “New Republic”. Moreover, regarding the decision to make the mask compulsory, Lulzim Basha himself didn’t have any position against it, but only says that the government should find the means to buy them./ CNA.al
